This is a book of stories and the stories Clive Lewis tells in this book are also true. He has had to take steps to conceal people's identities, although I cannot help thinking that many of the subjects of these stories would welcome their inclusion in this book. For they tell how
mediation has the power to change people's lives in a way in which litigation never could. "Workplace mediation" means mediation undertaken at a stage before relationships at a place of work have broken down irretrievably. It may be conducted by an in-house mediator or it may be undertaken by an external mediator to help to resolve deep-seated differences.
