We used to believe that this was a Christian country.
We used to be thankful that we were not living in a place where our
religion was persecuted.
We used to feel safe and secure inside our churches and chapels.
We used to feel that people respected us for our beliefs, even if they
didn’t understand us.
We used to feel we had some official protection because the state
approved of us.
We used to grow at a rapid rate and feel that we needed more
buildings and more space.
We used to feel so special.
